Bicycle Learning Center

The Bicycle Learning Center (BLC) is the newest branch of WRRAP geared towards bicycle maintenance. The BLC seeks to educate and to advocate for the safe use of bicycles as an affordable, healthy and sustainable form of transportation and recreation. Tools and assistance are available for cyclists’ utilization to learn about bicycle operation, maintenance, and repair. We strive to empower a community of bicyclists to feel confident cycling, sharing knowledge and skills with others.

Zero Waste and Take Back the Tap

What is Zero Waste?

In 2017, the United States sent over 37 million tons of municipal waste to landfills. WRRAP initiated the zero waste branch to bring awareness to the HSU community and the concerning fact that we are using more resources than can be replenished.

Education

Welcome to Education

Reaching out to the student body and campus community with tabling and on-campus events, the Education branch promotes awareness of resources and waste reduction. We host numerous on-campus events and activities that reflect the message of WRRAP. The three main outreach efforts are .....
  • Clothing Swap
  • Donation Dash
  • Green Graduation
